Deferrals, we understand that many of you are looking to defer your acceptance to either spring 2021 or fall 2021. Uhm, with the unknown nature of these appointments, if embassies or consulates offices will be opening, we understand that you may be very anxious about that and want to justify your acceptance. Were asking that you please hold off to do that until July 1st if you're unsure because of the cold mid 19 situation, our spring 2021 in fall 2021 application.

Um, so with the deferral policy, we do have a policy at you. Be where you can defer up to one time for up to one academic year. So just keep that in mind if you choose to defer to spring 2021 in our process. For that, you cannot differ again to fall, so just keep that in mind when you're thinking about your different options.

As well as the Siva School code that should be the information you need to make a visa appointment. If the embassies do open soon, um, we will also send you updates about when I 20s will begin to be mailed again, so continue to fill out the address and shipping form confirmation form and pay the Courier shipping fee so when we are able to ship we can ship you your I-20. We are exploring the possibility of sending I 20s electronically through email.

OK, a little information about program requirements to at you be to be a full time student in full time. Status on that is considered 12 credits. If you have ATAGA R&R Way its own assistantship, full time is considered 9 credits. So just keep that in mind. Many of our Masters programs are 30 credits so they can be completed in 1 1/2 years. So a fall spring in a fall semester you would complete.

Your program doctoral programs are 72 credits, so Masters programs can be done in as little as one calendar year. So if you decide to do some summer courses, you could accelerate the program or over three semesters. Some programs may accept the two years because of a thesis. I'm and also just something to keep in mind. All of your credits may not transfer, so if a program has very strict requirements and you already completed 12 credits, the only you can only transfer 6 credits between programs. So if you can't use those courses as electives, you might not be able to transfer those credits. So just also keep that in mind if you are considering changing programs at any point in your graduate career.

Course registration. So all of our departments handle course registration completely differently. There are some things that are consistent between course registration between Department San. That is that you must have all of your hold removed for the students that have been accepted and already have received a person number, you may have logged into your Hotmail account. This is where you will do your course registration and you'll notice that you have some holds. There could be the meningitis waiver. Hold the financial agreement hold.

You can go on the website, type in tuition fees and you'll find this information, but the the total of bees is made up of many different fees together, so you'll see. Living in indirect expenses. This is calculated for on campus living, so it is much higher than if you were to live off campus and rent an apartment. This is also including this is what people would refer to his room and board. So food campus dining. So COA is cost of attendance. This is the the estimate that they're giving. Again, if you're living off campus, the cost will be much less. Housing I'm a little bit about this. So on campus there's many options for graduate students. They range from residence halls, 2 apartments right now, the normal deadline to apply for housing is May 1st. I do believe it was extended to June 1st this year because of the COVID-19 situation. If you are interested in living on campus, I would suggest you fill out the information and pay the deposit because it is on a first come first serve basis. But once you sign a contract with campus housing, you are obligated to follow through.

Yeah, right now there is no specific deadline for you to submit these documents. We do recommend for you to submit them though when you have them available because we are still sending your applications over to international admissions to process your I-20. So as we mentioned before, they are still they are working remotely. They're generating high 20s as soon as your I-20 is created in your applicant portal page you will see your sevis ID number there. That is the number that you will need.

If we are able to email you documents a softcopy, but we will still be mailing the hard copies to you. At this point they have nothing has been mailed yet.
