Can't can't put a virtual background long wait.
Yeah that doesn't seem to be working.
Yeah did not see an option for that to be able to 'cause normally I have a you be behind me.
Can you hear me OK Shannon?
And Albert your screen is frozen.
I am going to um not broadcast video but I'll be with you the whole time so if you need anything I'll be watching to make sure I play video off pretty easily and then turn it back on UM in the APC meeting today the director of undergraduate studies were sharing their experience any best practices or tips they could offer and they said that if you are not presenting currently it might be better to not broadcast the video for a couple of reasons.
One is that it made Christine human really nervous to be sitting and then in turn Jeff Arrington really nervous to be sitting with the screen like filming them live while waiting for their turn for Christine it was like 35 minutes of sitting quietly and attentively and then in reverse Jeff so I would recommend I know you have 2 moderators today you know well and well I would recommend that you don't broadcast your video until it's time for you to field any questions.
OK, yeah, my plan was just to moderate the chat and keep a list of the questions that were most popular and then if you wanted me to pop on in the end and answer anything. But I was going to unbroadcast myself and just stay in the background.
Hum from what other advisors have said. Just kind of trying to keep up a little bit in the chat. I'm just kind of keep communication going and answer some of those questions seem to work well. I'll probably going to put my email out there. Two of students have questions after the fact. I did a webinar with Shannon and Jeff before we were all set home an I only got about maybe five or six students emailing after the fact so it wasn't too bad.
Hello so so when I saw when we start am I sharing my screen to do the to do this slide presentation.
Or is that get done automatically.
I think we just have to have the control slides button checked of-, so that way you're controlling everything.
Right, yeah, yeah. And then if yours freezes for whatever reason. I mean, Jo Ellen, I can watch and take over.
So what do you know what what do when students are looking at this what are they seeing.
I believe from what the one I did there, seeing your PowerPoint and then I think they see whoever's live at the top and then the chat bar will be on the on their side too. So a lot of them are going to focus on that. They're going to try to make connections and and Whatnot, but it doesn't. I believe their view does not look like ours where we can.
You know, play around with pretty much everything.
Right, right? That's why we didn't have a lot of content on each of the slides, 'cause it's a smaller. I mean, if you.
I looks like she's frozen.
I see 2 shanet one Shannon and then one black one black.
The second time I've seen that too.
So when you look at yourself or in in your own picture are you delayed.
Like when you talk does it and you look at yourself as you talk or do you see yourself delayed at all.
I think is he gonna try to do it and then we can jump in if something gets frozen or if he says something.
What are we doing in the beginning? Are we introducing everybody that's around? So if they see our names pop up in the chat and then pop up at the end, or 'cause I can stay hidden the whole time I don't mind whatever whatever you guys were thinking.
Yeah I mean I think that's a good idea just so everyone knows you know the people to join know that there are lots of people hidden in the background or whatever so yeah.
Will just be the random people answering questions in the job?
When can they went so so it goes live at noon and that's when people either pop in and then as soon as they join at noon and they are able to see and hear us is that right?
Do you see slides changing?

Good afternoon!
OK, Hi everybody, I'm Noah Matthews on one of the academic advisors for the school of engineering. I'm going to be hanging out in the background for the chat, so you'll see my answering some questions on the chat feature. So go ahead an shoot some of those out and then at the end I will come back live an answer. Some of the more popular questions that come up. Or again if we field question and answers and what not. I'll also put my email out there on the chat of every few minutes or so. So if you have anything after this session, please feel free to go ahead and email.
Hi everyone my name is Mitchell hoster man I'm a senior biomedical engineering graduating in may so if you have questions about specific things for people.
Mitchell seems frozen to me.
OK I'll sort of continue that you have questions about being a student what.
Find Michael engineering tales from a student perspective feel free to ask Mel said I'll be hanging around in the chat and then we can talk a little bit later when we come back after presentation.
Sorry if I'm stepping on somebody I apologize but I can't see you I can't hear Mitchell talking.

Fransheska Serrano
12:11:39 PM
What medical school pre reqs aren't in the BME curriculum?
Mitchell Hoestermann
12:12:12 PM
I'm doing a math minor with my degree, which complements the degree really well because more than half of the classes for my minor are already required for my major
Joelle Donius
12:12:25 PM
Great question - a lot of minors in BME I see are math, physics, electrical engineering.
Rafaella Elish
12:12:33 PM
Does UB have a 4+1 accelerated masters program for BME?
Noelle Matthews
12:13:01 PM
UB has a combined BME BS/MS program- it's 5 years combined!
Rafaella Elish
12:13:36 PM
Does one have to apply to this program? And if so, at what point during undergrad studies?
Joelle Donius
12:13:54 PM
Our BS/MS starts during your senior year. You would apply after the fall semester of your Junior year.

Since BME is a growing field, there are a lot of opportunities for internships all over the country. All sorts of industries are looking for biomedical engineers, so getting an internship isn't too difficult. I've had friends get internships as early as the summer between sophomore and junior year

Joelle Donius
12:18:11 PM
^ Great points Mitchell. We have many students completing internships, though we do not have co-ops. They may be competitive, but because of the number of students completing internships, there are many opportunities to apply. Current/past UB BME students are continuing to keep a great reputation for our future students to obtain internships.

I would encourage you to work with your advisor in regards to this criteria- as we should be able to work in a good portion of these with your program requirements and pathway courses (general education courses)
Mitchell Hoestermann
12:20:36 PM
Rubaisa - Our schedules typically have classes and labs throughout the day, but these vary semester to semester and based on what each student is doing. A BME pre-med schedule would look different than my schedule with my math minor
Joelle Donius
12:20:48 PM
We may be able to provide this presentation later. I can verify this shortly.

Joelle Donius
12:28:24 PM
'Students do complete Study Abroad and we certainly encourage this. The best time to do so would be before the Junior year.
Noelle Matthews
12:28:53 PM
Schedules are built on a rolling basis! As soon as you decide we will get you in for a schedule! No disadvantage as we make sure our new students have courses they need the first semester!
Fransheska Serrano
12:29:25 PM
What does the average bme do?

Noelle Matthews
12:31:28 PM
For first semester schedules- we put students into cohorts- where you are with the same students for MTH, SCI and ENG- seminar- It's a great way to meet other engineering students. We try to give everyone each type of class- day vs. evening- so you can see how they all work and see what you like the best!
Noelle Matthews
12:32:01 PM
You should receive the data form after you deposit.

Is it easy to transfer from aerospace into BME/how do you go about doing that?
Joelle Donius
12:36:27 PM
Hannah, hi! Your question about transferring from aerospace to BME. Engineering students have flexibility for transferring to different engineering majors. Each department curriculum is very similar int he first year. Transferring majors after the second year may become a bit more tricky, and may require additional courses or semesters, but certainly can be done!
Joelle Donius
12:36:50 PM
Noelle could you give Hannah more insight on changing majors? :)
Hannah Reifler
12:36:54 PM
Great, thanks!
Noelle Matthews
12:37:03 PM
If you are thinking of changing majors- come talk to us in advising- we can show you both programs and help you switch!
Fransheska Serrano
12:38:14 PM
I'm currently in the cas, and I was told I could transfer into the seas by filling out my orientation data form and then filling out a supplemental application is that true?
Noelle Matthews
12:38:17 PM
What Joelle said was perfect! The first year to year and a half are roughly the same for all engineering majors. It is easy to change at this point and still stay on track for graduation.
Noelle Matthews
12:38:52 PM
Fransheska- yes on your data form you can indicate you would like SEAS and we will help you from there!
Noelle Matthews
12:39:19 PM
In regards to the orientation data form- it should be available by the middle of April!
Noelle Matthews
12:39:33 PM
Start looking for that within the next 2 weeks or so!

What is the GPA requirement to be fully accepted into BME?
Doctor Tyler do you think that we would be a question that came up about the presentation would we be able to send that.
After or something similar that they can refer back to.
If we could send this presentation or something similar to?
Noelle Matthews

Taylor Fitzgerald
12:43:37 PM
Can you send us the slides that contain links?
I saw there was a question about co-ops.
Shannon Phillips
12:43:52 PM
The presentation is recorded and will be available on our website. We will send you the link.
Rafaella Elish
12:43:52 PM
say you are accepted into the 4+1 accelerated program, will your academic scholarship carry over to the 5th year?
We talked about internships a little bit earlier um internships are a lot more common than co-ops you be is not a school that requires you to do co-ops on like some schools do so as far as our program goes I don't know anybody that's done co-ops in biomedical engineering.
Everybody that I know is done internships either throughout the semester or over a winter or summer that's the most common.
Haley Callahan
12:44:23 PM
How did you find you internship and what did you do?
Noelle Matthews
12:44:24 PM
We would have to check on the scholarship as the 5th year you would be considered a graduate student
Obviously if you find a Co op on that you're interested in doing you can work with advising our advisors will help you fit that into your schedule and so I know I work in engineering advising with Noel and we've seen a handful of people that want to do co-ops in it only delays them about a semester or so.
Delaney Doubrava
12:44:36 PM
Although the work is more challenging as long as you work hard/study hard/ stay motivated is it pretty manageable?
Matt Amato
12:44:47 PM
Thanks Mitchell!
Mitchell Hoestermann
12:45:00 PM
You're welcome!
Doctor Titus there was a few questions on the pre Med the pre health courses that are required versus what's required in the BME program. Do you want to address that a little bit?
Colin Webb
12:45:58 PM
Is there any potential collaboration opportunities with BME and the Pharmacy program at UB? Specifically pharmaceutical research?
Alright this question how did I find I'm assuming this is a structured name how did you find your internship and what did you do so I did an internship last summer I worked with integer formally great batch so the company that basically invented the medical the pacemaker so I found that through a friend actually her dad used to work at the facility in Buffalo so in high school with her so she hooked up with her dad.
So at that actually I didn't get that internship the first time I fly and applied second time I got it the second time's over the summer I worked with I was in their feed through his group so the feed through is sort of the part of a medical device that connects the inside the outside so I was doing a lot of materials testing with mostly ceramics and metals.
Albert Titus
12:47:21 PM
YEs to pharm + BME in terms of research opportunities
Colin Webb
12:47:37 PM
undergrad research?
And then a little bit of design on the computer because they had actually just purchased micro see T scanner so they needed sort of custom holders for the small parts they were scanning on the see T so I would I designed those in solid works and then 3 printed them and then my second internship I'm actually doing right now I know doctor Titus was talking about doing internships during the semester effective it credit so I'm working with startup company in Buffalo it's called efferent labs they work with.
A new medical device basically I collects more data from living studies and so we are right now it's kind of this internship kind of all over the place with the whole pandemic what I'm doing right now is things I can do from home so looking at market research figuring out where the niche areas are that we could sort of.
Albert Titus
12:48:11 PM
Yes - it is possible, you would need to find who to work with, but it is allowed and encouraged
Advertises device really and doing a few other things coding a little bit sort of using stepper Motors to automate a microscope so that you don't have to sit there in front of the microscope and take 96 pictures of a 96 well plate.
Colin Webb
12:48:30 PM
Thank you
So stuff I can do from home I'm doing right now I found the first internship through my friend like I said I found the second one through website called handshake handshake is sort of website that you be career services uses a lot of it's where they'll post things like there's a career experience program which is where local companies will come to clear services say Hey I need an intern for this semester long project so students can apply through there it's the same thing as a job board so just like indeed or glass door or things like that.
Abhi Gudapati
12:49:04 PM
are there any opportunities to study abroad
So those are like the best ways that I found to find internships is just online LinkedIn too especially and a lot of people have gotten hired off LinkedIn so finding internships sort of an indeed is the best way to start in my opinion.
Haley Callahan
12:49:10 PM
Was your internship paid?
Mitchell Hoestermann
12:49:24 PM
Yes, both were paid!
Noelle Matthews
12:49:50 PM
study abroad- http://www.buffalo.edu/studyabroad/projects/ProgramSearch.academics.html
Haley Callahan
12:50:01 PM
Thanks! Can you also explain some of the research projects currently going on at UB?
I can grab a couple questions while we're looking over the chat. A few that I saw popped up study broad. My did provide the link a couple times to our study abroad programs. There are a lot of programs that will catch those general education courses you need. We call them pathways at you be so it is encouraged. Work with us in the advising office. Most of our engineering students will do study abroad during the summer or winter semester. To stay on track with their program during the fall in the spring.
It is possible to do during a fall in the spring, but we can ask to work with us and the advising office so we can make sure your courses are being completed in a timely manner. Paying attention to the prerequisites and whatnot. The link I provided you can actually click on the school of engineering and see all of our programs that will incorporate engineering courses. So for example, there is a program in France where students can take res 360, which is our technical communications class as well as a pathway course. So these are courses that are needed towards your major.
And that one does run usually winter summer to catch those classes as well. and I did see a few questions on your first semester schedule, how that works as we do our students in cohorts for our classes. So we keep all of our engineering students. We try to keep you guys together so you can meet friends. Of course in the BME program and then outside of the BME program so other engineering programs are cohorts are based on the math, so that would be calculus one. Usually it's chemistry, sometimes physics, depending on the program.
And then you are English if that is needed and then you are you be seminar which for us would be RES 199 designation. You will see someday classes. You may see some evening classes we try to spread that out your first semester to give you an idea of what the courses are like and what your opportunities are in the coming semesters. And as you get through your program, you may see courses only offered at a certain time, so we wanted to see what those classes are like. If you have something that might be once a week or twice a week.
Etc. If you have AP or college level courses. When I saw a lot of questions on those as to where those will count, we do not put you in a cohort specifically without talking to you first because we want to see are you comfortable using your calculus? One class? For example, sometimes AP grades aren't in yet and what not going forward or we just want to talk to you to see how comfortable you are in using those. Some programs encourage it, some would rather have you take classes here at you. Be for that college level material and whatnot.
So we talk to you an base your schedule on your opinions and then obviously offering suggestions on our end. So if you do have AP courses coming in, we will reach out to you the same as college level to help you build your first semester. For example, if you're using calculus 1 coming out of AP, then of course we're going to go ahead and put you into calculus too, but then will work you into a cohort, so you are taking a chemistry with other engineering students as well as the seminar and Whatnot. The orientation data form should be available sometime this month, usually mid month.

I read something about UB changing what AP scores they accept next year, is there a link of what exactly will be accepted for next fall?
There any forward in the next couple of weeks so you can watch for that. We don't start making our schedules until May and know if you choose the deposit after that June 1st, the pushback deadline it will not affect your schedule. We do them on a rolling basis and we wait for most of our students to go ahead and fill out those data forms. So again, 'cause we're trying to make cohorts so you will see us contacting you. Usually it's mid to end. May an then obviously into June and through the semester through the summer. So we will take that all into account.
If you have any questions, I put my email up a few times, I'll put it up again, specially on your schedule. Your AP, where things are going to be working. Let me know and I can talk to you on a one on one basis.

A couple questions about.
BBS program the 5 year program as well so that.
Let's start that will start in the fifth year or I'm sorry the fourth year so your senior year you would apply for that after you've completed the fall semester of your junior year.
Um we've we have 2 groups right now it's been active for 2 years now so this coming spring semester is our first group of students that will be graduating.

Does UB offer CPT to international students to do internships during sophomore and junior year
So it's it's pretty popular um it's just you know you'll be able to take a couple of graduate classes earlier than you would if you had to wait until you finish the undergraduate program so it's a little bit more accelerated in that sense and those graduate classes count towards your undergraduate degree so that's just kind of a quick overview of how the program works.
So if there's any other questions about that program if you're really interested in it you can certainly contact me.
Yeah question in the chat.
I did post our current AP link that's from Registrars Office. I haven't heard of anything in regards to scores changing, but if we do get any of that information it will be made available. But you're welcome to email me to follow up.
Yeah this question here about you be offering CPT for international students.
But in terms of any policies about sophomore junior year I'm not familiar with their I'm not sure if anyone here as any other knowledge on that but I would I would probably refer you over to the international student services office.
And that you know for a little bit more detail on that.
I knew there link right now.

Mitchell, did you take any AP classes before your freshman year? If so, were they worth it/did they help?
I don't see I gotta question about AP classes that I take AP classes. Yes, I did I took a whole bunch of AP classes in high school.
Joelle Donius
01:03:47 PM
Dhruv :) - The internship may have to count toward degree requirements in order for you to be approved for CPT. Our curriculum does not require internship in sophomore year, but could count after Junior year (summer going into Senior). If you have an internship opportunity in your sophomore or Junior year, you'll want to chat with me and the International Student Services office to see what options there are.
I actually used all of them for some sort of credit, except for one class I think so the only one I didn't use was AP chemistry. I gotta three in the exam and you be requires a four or five, so I declined that credit, but I used all the rest of them. Some of them like for example in biomedical engineering, we take a course in cell biology for engineers and I was able to use my AP biology credit to account for that course.
Fransheska Serrano
01:04:12 PM
How do honors program requirements fit into the curriculum?
What else did I do I took a couple of AP English classes and I use those for my general curriculum requirements. So no, I was talking about pathways a little bit earlier, so instead of taking six, I actually ended up taking four, which is really nice because it's sort of reduces my course load. I got to take some of those math classes for my minor, so I would absolutely recommend taking apcs, transferring them, trying to use them for credits that let's you customize your degree a little bit more in my opinion.
So the less you have to take here, the more you can sort of pick up glasses that you're just interested in taking, or pick up a minor.
So I know a lot of people have taken a piece that will do a minor or two. Some people I know have a Brazilian tapes and they double major. So sort of depends on what credit you bring in, but there's absolutely ways to use them and definitely recommend speaking with advisor about the courses you're bringing in. They'll definitely talk about that over the summer when they're making your schedule with you tell you. Take a look at that link, I think well sent it a couple of times what the courses articulate too. That's really important because you know, if.
Taylor Fitzgerald
01:05:06 PM
Do all AP courses require a 4 or 5?
If you take like AP art history and it doesn't articulate anything that you might want to claim the credit, but obviously something you can work on with your advisor over the summer.
Dhruv Loya
01:05:10 PM
Thanks!
There's a question on honors program requirements, how they fit into the curriculum in regards to honors program requirements. From what I know, there's 21 honors experience credits that students need to complete. Part of that they do use the EAS 199 so that your incoming salmon arm, and then the rest. There are some additional courses like honors colloquium that you'll be taking within your first year or so. You obviously have a honors.
Zack Farnam
01:05:37 PM
Why would you ever decline a credit? Can't they just be like general credit you have?
Advisor to work with to make sure that you're satisfying all these requirements. Let in regards to actual program requirements. You can use internships as part of that curriculum you can use if you're looking at, say that be SMS program, you can use college level or graduate level courses to satisfy as well. There's other options including study abroad and working on research projects with faculty. I definitely recommend reaching out to the Honors College, and I can give you a contact here in the chat feature for an.
Now, of the advisor that does a lot with the admissions portion of that, so you probably seen his name to Matthews around a lot, and you probably got a lot of communications with him, so you can reach out to the honors college for more specifics on them.
Noelle Matthews
01:06:31 PM
Honors College Contact- Tim Matthews- TRM7@buffalo.edu
I saw a question about another question, but a piece. So no, not all AP courses require a four or five, but some of them. If you get a three, it will articulate two general credit, so that will be. You'll see, those commit is 999 credits. Those don't count towards specific courses, those are just general credits. And then there's another question about declining credits so no one can explain declining credits better than I can.
So OK, the declining credits for AP really has a lot to do with financial aid, so this has a lot to do with F. You have tap or Excelsior. Essentially, if I'm just going to use calculus one as an example, if you're coming in with AP credit for calculus one, you have Excelsior for what not and you want to retake the class here. It would affect it is if you kept your AP credit.
If you pass it or whatnot so we can have you decline it and then it's like starting fresh so these are conversations that we can have one on one, especially when we call you over the summer to make your schedule. You don't have to worry about the declining now. There's forms for that, but again, if you're in the Honors Program, you can work with your honors advisor. You can work with us in school of engineering. We can help you and then obviously, of course, contact financial aid. They're going to be or go to person for anything. Tap Excelsior if you have the stem scholarship, that's another popular one with our students.
So I declined only declined when I do find AP chemistry on 'cause I brought in a lot of college or a lot of credits from high school. So the advisor I don't remember. I spoke too, but the advisor I spoke to recommended declining it because so the finance is sort of credit number. You need to worry about 60 credits, which is sort of where there's a lot of financial aid. Applications need to be declared major things like that, so that's why I did it. It sort of depends on your situation, what courses are bringing in, so it's definitely question to keep in mind for over the summer when you talk to your advisor for sure.
Fransheska Serrano
01:08:11 PM
If I want to retake calc 1 and 2 should I take the ap?
Noelle Matthews
01:08:42 PM
You can- you may decide you want to use them. You can always decline them if you choose not to use them.
Yes, I highly recommend buying a planner.
It's so much easier to write down all your deadlines, like when you have to meet certain things. The nice thing about college courses that everything you need is right in the syllabus. You'll get it in the first day of classes. All the exams will be in there, like when the homework assignments are due. So ready to begin this master. Highly recommend planning out as much as you possibly can. Putting those important dates in the calendar, setting reminders on your calendars that you know. Hey, I have this exam on Saturday or so. I need to start studying this far in advance.
So definitely planning your time. Like I mentioned before, is the biggest thing. So like in high school, I'd never had a plan in my time. You would just show up to classes and take tests and get hundreds. And then I came to college, tried to do the same thing and did not do very well in my first couple of exams. So that's sort of where the difference between high school and college really is. You got to take things into your own hands.
Taylor Fitzgerald
01:11:07 PM
Do you recommend a laptop or OS (PC v MAC)?
Nobody will remind you of anything if you get a nice professor they have exam or you have a homework assignment due, but you can't always guarantee that. So really taking things into your own hands.
This thing and planning your time setting reminders for yourself and like making yourself do things you know it's tempting, is not doing your homework is. I'm just playing video games. Whatever, it's kind of got a.
Wanna say like it to be an adult really is the biggest thing I've learned is sort of growing up when you're in college sort of handling your own deadlines so.
Um seed recommended laptop or an OS?
Generally, engineering programs run better on Windows computers, but I know a bunch of people who have Max and then I think about engineering you be is that we have an entire computer lab that's just for biomedical engineering students, so any of the software you are required to have will be on those computers. So if you have a Mac and you can't run solid works on it, we have the computer lab for you guys.
24 hours, it's only about accounting students, so it's really nice. I've been in there very late so.
Laptop is sort of personal preference, but I have a Windows computer. I like it. I like taking notes. I had have a tablet actually, so I'd like to take notes. I'd like to write on it during class, so I'll download powerpoints and then write all over the PowerPoint so I don't have to spend my whole class times like copying things from the power points.
But it's you know personal preference, really.

Do BME students live on campus together? Is there a "match" program to place compatible personalities together?
Michael Rettinger
01:15:39 PM
Are tutors/TAs available regularly? Are they easy to contact?
Let's see Taylor, BME students do not specifically live together. If you are interested in your living on campus, there are Facebook groups where you can meet other people. Say Hey Mission Biomedical Engineering. You know, I'd like to live with a biomedical engineer or something like that. We do have our engineering specific housing. It's our engineering living, learning community. I lived in that my freshman year, so that was one floor in our Ellicott complex where it was just about 60 or so engineers.

Just a whole floor and it was really nice. I know because I met my two roommates. We were randomly placed together and we still live together for years later I met a lot of really close friends that we still friends with their in other engineering disciplines, but we're also over the close. I found that to be really helpful in making friends, you know, because obviously engineers other engineers know sort of what you're going through. They know the pain of chemistry, calculus, physics, so highly recommend looking into that engineering, living, learning community.
They do. There is 2 in on North campus, so that's one of the benefits is that if you do, you will be guaranteed live on North campus.

Tutoring Information! http://engineering.buffalo.edu/home/academics/undergrad/advisement/tutoring.html
And then there's a sophomore living learning community. So the sophomores basically take the freshman as men. Tis so, as a freshman will be assigned to sophomore, and they sort of just meet with you and say, Hey, you know, how's it going? Are you struggling, any classes you know? Basically, there's just another person to talk to.
Noelle Matthews
01:17:11 PM
I'll jump in here in a minute to give you some more information on tutoring
Contact helping my friends in engineering so I definitely recommend doing that. When I lived in the floor there were only I think well of girls, but they all really liked it. 'cause I got to meet other women in engineering. So definitely recommend looking into that. It was a great experience and I would definitely do it again.
I want to grab this question on tutoring information I just put the link up for all of our engineering resources something that take advantage of that's really popular amongst our students is our.
Our first year groups or our freshmen small groups this is where we're going to take those essential core classes so that would be your calc one your chem calc 2 and your physics courses in really provide the smaller learning setting for that so they are available for our first year students so the signups are going to be on that link obviously will refresh for fall weather weather incoming students and whatnot but we also link out to other engineering resources in terms of our engineering Honor Society students that have volunteered their time.
Usually one on one and they meet in our Steven center which kind of our study session right next to our office in Bonner Hall and we also link out to the other resources right on campus so our tutoring in academic support services which is one of our newer offices on campus that's available obviously for every University student they've obviously now to incorporate what we're going through this semester they've switched to all on line to help our students out remotely so they really adjust based on on what's going on on campus so there is always tutoring services available.
TAS are also available they'll provide office hours also for you to meet with them during throughout the semester obviously now for our students we've gone remote for that so we do make sure our services are available.

This is a VERY unrelated question, but does anyone know a contact of someone at the UB aquatics center? I am a lifeguard and I'm interested in an on-campus job. (I know this is not exactly your specialties, but I thought I would shoot my shot)
Actually not answer that.
So like I was talking about earlier on handshake, if you once you be student and you get your you be login you can just Google on Handshake University at Buffalo and then that's where they post all of the on campus job information. And I've seen postings, therefore lifeguards and sort of pull supervisors. Whatever they do, so keep an eye out there. Those cycle through those, typically at the beginning of this Masters. So once I'd say until the end of the summer.
Uhm you have your ebt login? Take a look at that and see if athletics is hiring.
